This programme is reserved to all existing HSBC customers in Thailand who refer a new customer to start an HSBC relationship from 1 May – 31 July 2011. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other HSBC promotions.
HSBC reserves the right to offer a cash credit or premium to the following HSBC customers:
HSBC customers who successfully refer 1-5 new customers will receive central vouchers worth 1,200 baht for every successful referral.
HSBC customers who successfully refer 6 new customers will receive an iPod Touch 8GB worth 7,900 baht.*
HSBC customers who successfully refer 10 new customers and above will receive iPad 64GB, Wi-Fi, 3G worth 22,900 baht.*
*iPod Touch 8GB and iPad 64GB, Wi-Fi, 3G will be eligible for 1 reward per 1 referral only.
Only approved credit card account can be counted toward the number of referrals and existing HSBC customers cannot refer themselves.
The premium prices are as of 25 March 2011.
New HSBC customers who are referred by existing HSBC customers must not have held an existing HSBC account for the specified product at the present time or for the past 12 months.
The programme is not applicable to existing HSBC customers who open new joint accounts, notwithstanding that the other joint account holder is a new HSBC customer.
HSBC reserves the right to change the premium to a similar model or other premium at the equivalent value without prior notice. iPad will be delivered to customers once we receive it from supplier. In case supplier cannot provide it within the specified date, HSBC reserves the right to transfer 80,000 HSBC Reward points to customers.
HSBC reserves the right to change or confiscate the premium from existing HSBC customers or deduct the value of the premium concerned from the referrer’s account if the new customers fail to maintain the necessary funds in their accounts for the stipulated time.
HSBC shall not be responsible for the quality of premiums provided by any of the suppliers. In case of defect on premiums, please contact the supplier of such premiums directly.
HSBC reserves the right to change the premiums, the terms and conditions and other benefits of this programme without prior notice.
HSBC customers consent to HSBC using their names and photos for public relations purpose This consent is a principle condition of this programme, and any photos taken are HSBC's property.
In the event of a dispute arising out of this programme, the decision of HSBC shall be final.
These terms and conditions are made in both Thai and English versions. The Thai version shall prevail in respect of interpretation hereto in the event of discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Additional Terms and Conditions for HSBC Premier Programme:
The HSBC Premier referral will be considered successful when the referred person starts an HSBC relationship with a minimum of 3 million Baht in deposits and/or investment (exclusive of loan products and credit facilities) and maintains a 6-month average balance, of no less than the opening balance in his/her account.
HSBC Premier customers who close and re-open a single/joint HSBC account during the programme period will not be eligible to participate in the programme.
For the referral of HSBC Premier customers, the premiums are available to eligible customers for redemption during the programme or accumulation up until the programme ends. However, the redemption right arising from each referral can only be exercised once and cannot be used for any other redemption thereafter. The redemption right arising from each referral cannot be transferred or combined. The referred customers must also maintain the opening amount for at least 6 months.
Eligible customers must provide supporting evidence to redeem premiums on or before 31 August 2011. Customers must contact their Relationship Manager to receive the premium. Late redemption is not allowed. The premiums are not transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
Additional Terms and Conditions for Personal Loan/or Self-Employed Installment Loan and/or Credit Card:
For the referral of an HSBC Personal Loan and/or Credit Card, referrers must specify their first name and last name/company name and ID number/company registration or credit card number in the application in order to qualify for the premium.
Referrers of HSBC Personal Loan and/or Credit Card customers will receive the premium when the referred customer has applied for and been approved for the specified products and opened a Personal Loan account. The premium will be available within 120 days after the end of the programme.
HSBC reserves the right to give the premium to the referrer, only if the new referrals are new customers who have never held an HSBC credit card before (for example, for existing customers who had a VISA card, the bank reserves the right not to consider as a new customer when referee applies for a MasterCard®) and new customers must be the primary card holder only.
HSBC reserves the right not to count HSBC Premier MasterCard® as a new customer for the referral programme.
